Sylvia Plath's copy of The Great Gatsby via Melancholia

I just had a nephews 1.5 months ago. She's a beautiful baby, named Apple.

When I held Apple in my arms, I had a thinking: what if I have a baby girl in the future?

"She gonna need a fortune for beauty operations!" That's the second thought I had.

However, if I have a choice, I prefer a smart and healthy baby girl rather than a beautiful but a stupid one.

I wonder whether Plath reflected what she experienced in her writing. I suppose her parents should be proud of her!?
