Say Good-Bye to My Good Friend - Tamara

離開牛津的前一天，和Tamara到牛津五星級飯店蘭道夫喫午茶。

Before I leave Oxford, Tamara and I went to the 5 stars Hotel - THE RANDOLPH for the afternoon tea.

這一年，尤其是最後一學期，和Tamara一起並肩作戰（討論論文）的革命情誼，令人難忘。她是除了家人、老師外，唯一出現在我論文謝詞的人。

In the past year, especially in the Trinity term, Tamara and I had a strong bond with each other: we met with each other regularly and discussed doing research.  She was the only person I mentioned in my acknowledgment besides my family and teachers.

我們有好多好多共通點：穿的、用的、對將來的規劃與打算、對人生應有的哲學和態度。雖然，我們不是動不動就來喝兩杯的酒咖，對彼此的恭維有時客套地刻意；很認真地想要維繫這段友誼，也只是互留通訊方式，淺淺地笑說：要保持連絡喔！我倆實在是夠拘謹。

We have so many things in common: the taste for clothes, future plan, the philosophy of life.  We are not the type of girls/women who drink widely and hang around for nothing.  In fact, we seemed too overcautious!?  Anyway, both of us have the strong motivation to maintain the precious friendship.

從飯店走回樹爾德尼戲院門口，就要分手告別了。

Walking from the RANDOLPH to the entrance of Sherdonian Theatre, it was time for us to say good-bye.

我說：我真不敢相信自己要回台灣了，這一年，好快！

Tamara說：我也是，我不會忘記你、、、來，抱一個。

然後，我們眼眶都溼了。

"I cannnot believe I am going to leave Oxford... this year was so short!" I said.

"Me too! ... Give me a hug." said Tamara.

Then, tears ran rings around our eyes.

約好還要一起去美國進修、一起到紐約玩。切記！切記！

Don't forget that we will have the summer course in the U.S. and play around N.Y.  Don't forget!!!

Tamara, my best wishes for you!  Hope you have a good year!  Don't be too hardship to yourself.  Watch some good musicals and operas in London for me, all right?
