回到宜蘭，一開始幾天夜夜輾轉難眠。

I hardly fell asleep these days.

也許是“又要“一個人獨居，漸感厭煩；也許是蚊蟲太多，擾我清夢（我半邊臉都是紅豆冰！）；或許，最重要的原因是－－我要返校教書了。

There were too many possible reasons: I may be tired of living alone "again" or I was disturbed by mosquitos at night.  Well, I know -- I am a bit anxious since I am going to be back to school!

捧著備課用書、文馨出版的字典、文法全書、數本劍橋出版的文法練習本；已經教過一輪（三年）國中生的我，面對再簡單不過的內容，突然有點躊躇。去英國沾醬油，不是為了七千塊的加薪；我的教學方式、態度是該有些不同。只是，偏理論的碩士課程不比TESOL；這一年，我對學術的熱情稍退，實際應用的區塊到頭來還是要自己摸索實踐。

While preparing for the lessons, I hold back.  "What can I offer for my students?" "As a teacher, am I different from what I was before?"  Funny thing is, I don't think the master's course helps me in my profession.  It seems to me that I have to explore myself what are good for my students and how I can perform lessons effectively.

辛苦歸辛苦，畢竟是做自己喜歡的事，還能以此在亂世餬口求生。人生至此，夫復何求？再累，多來幾杯美式咖啡就好！

Although I am a bit nervous, I am still happy that I can make money by doing what I like to do.  Not so many people are lucky enough to find such a job, especially in the period of economic regression.
