四時讀書樂

之夏

新竹壓簷桑四圍，小齋幽敞明朱曦。

晝長吟罷蟬鳴樹，夜深燼落螢入幃。

北窗高臥羲皇侶，只因素稔讀書趣。

讀書之樂樂無窮，瑤琴一曲來薰風。

相較古人，現在讀書大抵很難尋覓這種氣氛吧！？竹？月光？蟬鳴？螢火蟲？薰風？在都市叢林何處尋？

The Chinese poem describes the joy studying during summer.  While reading under the moon light, the writer could hear cicada singing, watch fireflies flying, perceive the wind flowing. Well, I am afraid people nowadays can hardly reading in such kind of atmosphere.  

但，能隨意讀自己感興趣的閒書，即便是縮瑟坐在牆角，也是種幸福。

To me, it is the great fortune to read books/magazines I am truly interested in, even though I have to stand all day and read at the corner of a bookstore.
